Cal Poly Beef Center conjoins classroom teaching with beef production and research. The beef cattle program is one of the largest animal programs in the Animal Science Department at Cal Poly. The Beef Center is numerous metal buildings and includes pens and stalls that allow the students to work with and manage the cattle and help in developing skills they will need to work in the cattle industry.
