California Giant is an 80,000 square foot cold storage facility located in Santa Maria, California. This is a pre-engineered metal building system manufactured by VP Buildings and erected by Rarig Construction. The roof and wall systems are insulated metal panels that feature high R- values for energy efficient cooling of strawberries being stored while awaiting processing and shipping. This state-of-the-art cooling facility includes a two story office and other support structures.
